In the book of beginnings, God gave the awesome task of dominion to Adam in the garden of Eden.
Ge 1:26 Then God said, “Let Us make man in Our image, according to Our likeness; let them have dominion over the fish of the sea, over the birds of the air, and over the cattle, over all the earth and over every creeping thing that creeps on the earth.” Ge 1:28 Then God blessed them, and God said to them, “Be fruitful and multiply; fill the earth and subdue it; have dominion over the fish of the sea, over the birds of the air, and over every living thing that moves on the earth.” Many battles are the result of a contest over dominion. Ours is a spiritual one concerning the voice of authority in the Earth.
Consider satan’s priority assignment. When the Word is sown into peoples’ hearts, what is satan’s first move? Did you say, ”Steal the Word immediately!”? Mark 4:15 verifies this, and why is this so? Words are containers of faith or doubt. Dominion is won by the believer who continues in faith saying the truth rather than accepting the reasonable taunts of the devil. Mark 11:23 enforces saying 3 times more than believing. Our continued response of speaking truth in the face of adversity will ensure victory, but if one hesitates and considers the appeal of the senses, the battle is over!
