Nature’s performance this time of year is always worth a 5 star rating.  The spider webs are enormous, as well as the spiders!  Although I’m not a huge fan of them, I do really enjoy the majestic performance of the geese.  Such a display of God’s order; nothing less than perfect.  The “V” formation can remind us victory is ours, but it can also remind us of the dependability of our God.  He’s always attentive and always on time. Fall’s  arrival always brings a grand display of color and the sky seems to be a crisper blue as nature paints more varied hues than Crayola ever did.  This time of harvest always brings  a new excitement in the air.   Jesus talked with His disciples about a harvest of souls in the gospels.  Luke’s version goes like this, “Then He said to them, “The harvest truly is great, but the laborers are few; therefore pray the Lord of the harvest to send out laborers into His harvest.”  Notice He didn’t say to pray for the harvest, but rather pray for workers.  Nature always produces harvest as the sowers faithfully sow their seeds, and so does the Word of God act as a seed and produce a harvest of souls for the Kingdom.  However, there is always a shortage of workers in both fields.  We must understand that we are the workers God uses to bring in His harvest, and pray for more workers to be added.  The harvest is certain!
